Norene Chip, of Jameson Sotheby in the Chicago area, guided me through purchasing my new home in Skokie and made it an almost painless process! Though I've lived in Los Angeles for many years, Evanston and Skokie appealed to me... friendly people, the slower pace, and Devonshire Highlands in particular--quiet streets. But few homes were available. My previous realtor left town to care for his mother and so we ended the relationship. Norene was showing an immaculate, well-appointed house (but too many rooms for me), representing the buyer, and I believed she could find and negotiate a home for me. Her attention to detail in the home that she was selling is memorable. She and I quickly found a home I really adored. But there were issues with the house that Norene guided me through resulting in a reduction in my offer price. In the end, I bought it with Norene guiding me through the purchase negotiation. I was pleased with her knowledge, her focus, negotiating skill and enabling the purchase happen. I recommend her highly to anyone dealing with a home sale or purchase. Norene is simply the best. She helped me buy my condo in Streeterville 5 years ago. As a first-time owner she walked me through the process (and million questions I had!) patiently and thoroughly, and I could not be happier with my condo. Since then whenever a question has come up, condo-related advice/resources needed, she is my go-to and she always has expert advice and the solution.
